iPod Shuffle #1: Final Fantasy - This Lamb Sells Condos

I've decided to try a new thing with my blog: I have an iPod and I think it might have become my new best friend. To pay tribute to my new best friend, I've decided to post from time-to-time randomly selected songs that are currently on my iPod and include a brief commentary (because I love to hear my voice) about the song, lyrics, etc... So... (drum roll) ...onto the first official "iPod Shuffle" feature of my blog!
Final Fantasy - This Lamb Sells Condos
This comes from Final Fantasy's second album, and unfortunately named (sorry), He Poo's Clouds. Here Owen Pallett delivers a lyrical masterpiece in "tribute" to the annoying real estate agent "that sells condos" in downtown Toronto. Owen's juxtaposition of a medieval township to modern-day downtown Toronto is both clever and unique. The result of which makes this track feel like a fable then the reality it portrays. The anti-hero, Lamb, is attributed with mystical powers, most humorously "champaign-sheik", which he uses to woo and take over the village.
